‘Twas the month before Christmas, when all through the town.
Festive arrangement are being made up and down
The lights will be shining on the new-fallen snow
Giving a luster on delights, all twinkling below
The tram bells will ring as they arrive with abound
With a bus awaiting to take folk all around
There’ll be something for the young and for the old
Just come to the square and there you’ll behold
Cards, gifts and novelties in every window
Scrumptious treats and berried mistletoe
The ice rink is coming with reindeer and St Nick
To avoid disappointment, you’d better book quick
St Nick will appear with toys in a sack
In a miniature grotto with wheels on the back
The beard on his chin is as white as the snow
His cheeks like roses as you hear him bellow
“Happy Christmas to all and to all a good-night” at Colyton Christmas Fayre.

The Colyton Christmas Fayre is organised by the Committee as a Charitable Event.

“The Christmas Fayre Committee aim to provide recreational facilities to the public at large and those who, by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances have need of such facilities. We also aim to help to maintain, improve or provide public amenities and help protect or conserve the environment.”

We hope you will support the traders and the activities that we are arranging for the Colyton 2nd Christmas Fayre. It has been a learning experience for all of us but gives us great pleasure knowing that we can put our efforts back into our community.
