Take part in PowerFM’s Green Month during March, with the culmination being ‘Lights Out Hampshire’, on Saturday, March 29th.
The aim is for darkness to fall across the country with everyone switching off all non-essential lights and appliances. To pledge your support visit My Green Town.
The switch-off will take place from 8pm to 9pm, coinciding with the Global Earth Hour – an event which encourages people around the globe to reduce their carbon emissions.
Buildings that will be taking part in Lights Out Hampshire near by:
* Southampton Guildhall
* Southampton Civic Centre
* Clock Tower
* West Quay Shopping Centre
* Skandia
* Winchester Cathedral
* Hampshire County Council
* Gunwharf Quays
* Portsmouth Guildhall and Civic Centre
* Spinnaker Tower (going green for the month of March)
