Why should I join?
The SSF exists to promote sustainability across Southampton, and we can only do this with your help and input. We welcome representatives from all organisations who have an interest in sustainability, from grassroots community groups to big business. We also have many members who join as individuals, everyone is welcome.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I JOIN?
We will e-mail you every quarter with our newsletter and will keep in touch to let you know of any events or consultations happening in Southampton that might interest you. You can be asked to be taken off the mailing list at any time.
As a member you will be invited to our quaterly SSF member events. Each event has a sustainability-related theme linked to the venue, with guest speakers, and a chance to discuss the issues raised. There is always time to chat to other SSF members, and to get involved in SSF activities. A buffet is available if you book in advance, to make it easier for those of us who work full-time to get to the meeting.
If you have any ideas for projects or information about sustainability in your area, please let us know. We are always looking for volunteers to get involved, please contact Claire Townend for an informal chat, or come along to one of the meetings.
